About Dr Livingston

Dr Ryan Livingston is a Queensland-trained Specialist Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon practising from Plastic Surgery Queensland on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa. He graduated from medical school in 2003 from the prestigious St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital (University of London), UK, and holds the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr Livingston has furthered his expertise through advanced microvascular training in both London and Germany, supporting a consistently high standard of surgical care. He is a founding Senior Medical Officer at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital Plastic Surgery Department and has been a key contributor to its development, evolution, and expansion of services.

A current academic title holder at both the University of Queensland and Griffith University, Dr Livingston's dedication to teaching and training the next generation of medical professionals earned him a nomination for the University of Queensland ‘Clinical Educator of the Year’. He is passionate about educating and supporting professional development in others.

His areas of particular expertise include abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), a wide variety of face and neck lift techniques including endoscopic approaches, and blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). Dr Livingston also performs a comprehensive range of breast, body contouring, and skin cancer procedures.
